Well a very busy week this week, so lots to tell (and mummy is back in charge of editing this week!) We started off the week still busy packing with trips to shopping malls for last minute bits and pieces and trying to stock up the cupboards for daddy.
On Saturday we took daddy to Polliwogs, which I think he really enjoyed. We met Daniel, Cara and Marina & Lola there with their mummies and daddies, which was really nice and we had lots of fun setting off the volcano and playing in the ball pool. I think daddy was quite impressed with how fast I managed to get around the climbing frames. We were there for nearly 2 hours and the poor daddies were very tired, so we had to pop into the pub on the way home for some lunch and drinks!!!! Then in the afternoon we had a lovely swim in the nice warm pool at the condo, before Aquillah (my babysitter arrived - as usual an hour early!!) and mummy and daddy headed out to watch the rugby.
Sunday was Father's Day, so we made daddy some of his nice coffee and gave him his present - he has got a lovely photo album with lots of pictures of me in it, so that each day we are away in the UK he still gets to see me!! Then we headed off up to Mount Faber to catch the cable car down the hill to Vivo City where we had a lovely lunch before we headed home to finish packing!! I also sat down with my daddy to watch ITNG as I know that he will miss it lots whilst I am away!!
Monday was a very busy and long day. It started off normally with a trip to Parkway Parade and some shopping, followed by lunch, nap and then music, playtime, dinner and bath - but then after mummy put me in my pyjama's she forgot to put me in bed!! Instead we got in a taxi and headed off to the airport. We had to leave daddy at the airport as he has lots of work to do in Singapore, so mummy and I had to head off and get onto a huge aeroplane (the big A380) and off we flew to London. I managed to fall asleep just as we were taking off and so missed dinner (as this would have been the third meal I had had that night it was not a big issue!!) I managed to get myself comfy by laying across mine and mummies seat (not sure where mummy was sleeping?!!) and slept well for most of the flight - i was awake for the last 5 hours of a 14 hour flight so not bad going. I managed breakfast which was scotch pancakes (very yummy). Everybody commented on how well behaved I was on the flight - so mummy was very, very proud of me!!
When we got off the aeroplane we had to collect all of our bags and a lovely man helped mummy push me in the pushchair so that she could push the trolley with all the bags on (they weren't very heavy, we have travelled light so that we can do lots of shopping in the UK!!) Then when we got through customs, Grandad was waiting to take us off to Maidenhead where Grandma was waiting for us with a lovely cup of tea!!!! The rest of Tuesday we spent chilling out and trying to work out what time of the day it was (stupid jet lag, it is very confusing!), we had a little nap in the morning, managed to find ITNG on the TV and then went for a walk to the playground in the afternoon - it was lovely and warm and sunny - we clearly remembered to pack the sunshine in our suitcase when we came!!
The end of the week has been very busy as well. We caught up with Great Granny and Great Auntie Sonia on Wednesday morning which was lovely, Great Auntie Sonia bought me a great rocking stacker toy and an animal book, which has kept me occupied this week. Then in the afternoon we headed off to the park and met up with Auntie Noelle, Auntie Kate and my cousins - Joe, Amelia, Caitlin and Matthew -we had lots of fun running around and bouncing on the giant seesaw. I was also busy exploring Grandma's garden and playing in the cabin (it is like my favourite wendy house but bigger and wooden) and pushing the shopping trolley around the garden. Then Amelia and Matthew came round to Grandma's for dinner, whilst Auntie Kate and Uncle Ade put up the biggest wendy house i have ever seen in the back garden - they called it a tent and apparently you can go on holiday and sleep in it - how cool is that!! Mummy sounded quite keen (apparently she is a bit of a tent putting up pro!), so I am hoping that once I am bigger and we are living somewhere without big nasty snakes, we might be able to go on holiday in a wendy house!!
This morning started off badly when in my excitement to get out into the garden I fell out of the patio door and landed on my face! I have a lovely big red graze on my cheek and a bruise on my forehead - I was very brave though and only cried for a bit and was fine once we went back to the scene of the crime and told the step off!!! Then we headed off to Odds Farm Park with Grandma, Auntie Noelle and Caitlin to feed the animals. The rabbits were my favourite, I was not that keen on the big smelly pigs (much to mummies disappointment) and thought the baby goats were cute but then the big scary adult ones came along as well and even Auntie Noelle was scared then!! My favourite bit of the morning was the playground and our picnic though! After lunch we headed onto the tractor ride, but by this time both Caitlin and I were exhausted and were nearly falling asleep on our mummies, so we headed home. Then in the afternoon, Caitlin's big brothers (Joe and James) came round to Grandma's to play as they had been at school during the day - we had great fun playing cricket in the garden and we had ice lollies as it was so hot (mmm yummy!)
Well I think that was all of this week's news and stories, we have been very busy and I have been fast asleep by bedtime (although with this silly jet lag morning wake up time has moved an hour earlier, but that just means that we have more time in the day!!) I am pretty sure that next week will be just as action packed - so watch this space for more updates!!
Big hugs and kisses to all
