Thursday 27th March

We had a very exciting week this week, it was Easter weekend. I did not get any easter eggs, but i got some easter presents from Granny & Grandad - a lovely dress and some rubber ducks for my bath!

At the weekend we had Sabrina & Steve over for dinner. Mummy & daddy were hoping i would go to sleep, but i knew daddy was making cheesecake (my fave) so decided to stay up and play!! Then on Sunday we went round to Ian's for Sunday lunch - again the food was so yummy i decided to stay awake and enjoy it!

Then on Monday we went on holiday! We flew to Singapore for 4 days. The flight was 31/2 hours but i really enjoyed it. Take off & landing were the best bits as mummy fed me. I had a special bassinet seat in front of mummy so that i did not have to sit on her knee the whole way. i spent most of the time cuddling mummy & daddy but i did go in the bassinet when it was time to eat. i also got lots of attention from people on the flight when we went for a walk around!! Daddy is a little bit worried as we checked in at first class and went into the nice lounge - he is worried i might start expecting this all the time! We did fly economy though and daddy gave up his business seat to sit with me - the Cathay lady was so impressed she gave daddy a box of choccies & he still got his nice wine so he was happy!!

Singapore was lovely. Very warm (about 30c) but really nice. I had my humphreys corner sun hat on and finally got to wear some of my pretty sundresses and frilly knickers!! Daddy had to work whilst we were there, but me and mummy were tourists. On the first day we went shopping and got very excited by Gap - espec as they were doing buy one get second half price in baby gap - how could we say no!! On Weds we went to Raffles Hotel, Chijmes & the Churches around there we also had lunch with daddy. We even made it out for dinner every night and sat around the pool a bit. I have not had my jabs yet so we did not go in.

Anyway I really enjoyed my first holiday and am looking forward to the next one already!!

Thursday 20th March
Had a very busy week this week. On Friday I went for lunch with the girls from the Y at the football club, then I went for afternoon tea with the WAGs at the big cova in Pacific Place (blueberry cheesecake again for me) and then we went for dinner at the Locke's with Jan & Alan. No wonder mummy is not losing her baby belly!!!
I also went to work with daddy whilst mummy had her check up - i fell asleep, ship finance is so boring!!! Then on Saturday night mummy and daddy went to the AmCham Ball with daddy's work so I had a babysitter. I did not meet her as i slept until 1am when they came home and then i slept through again until 7am - wow think I was tired!!
On Monday night i slept in my big girl cot inside my grobag. It was great and I am sleeping far better without having to listen to daddy's snoring - he says the same about me though!! Grobags are great and I hope mummy will buy me some more!!
I also applied for my passport this week, so I am going jet setting soon. Watch this space!!
PS I love smiling now especially when daddy comes and gets me from my cot. However I am playing games with mummy and refusing to smile when she gets the camera out - hee hee!! Will let you see a picture of my gummy smile soon - promise!

Thursday 13th March

Yeah - I went to the clinic last week and have put on 8oz in a week! I am now 9lbs 8oz and both my mummy and the nurse were very pleased.
I have also learnt a new trick this week - weeing as soon as my nappy is moved away. I managed to get the nurse, mummy and daddy twice - very funny!
Mummy is also pleased that I keep smiling and my grip is getting better - I am getting very good at pulling mummy's hair when she is feeding me!
Mummy and daddy have finally made a decision on a new house - we are moving to a low rise in Discovery Bay that has a garden so that I have somewhere to play. It backs onto the park and the club house so that I have lots of things to do to entertain me during the day. Daddy is very excited about the garden and has already been out to the shops to look at big barbeques!!
It was mummy's birthday this week as well - she has reached the big 3-0. She got lots of nice clothes, smellies and relaxing spa treatments so hopefully she will not be too stressy any more! She also got a new Apple lap top which we are both using to make sure that everyone is kept up to date with what I am up to and can see lots of nice pictures of me!!
My big skill of the week is feeding from a bottle. Daddy gave me my first night time bottle feed on monday - it is really nice as it is still mummy's milk but i get to cuddle daddy whilst i have it - best of both worlds.
I also had my weekly WAGs coffee - WAG Jan is back in HK now so I have met all of the ladies now and they are lovely and give me lots of attention!

Thursday 6th March
Another busy week - we have been house hunting again. We spent all day Saturday looking at houses, Southside in the morning and DB in the afternoon. And still nothing - beginning to think mummy and daddy are too fussy!!
It was my first Mother's Day and I got mummy a lovely card and the box set of Harry Potter books so that we can read them together, although they might be a bit scary for me just yet and i still have to finish the Winnie the Pooh book Auntie Becca bought me.
Mummy and me went to look at houses again during the week and have finally shortlisted 2 for daddy to look at - will keep you posted!
I have started sleeping in my crib inside my cot during the day - mummy says this is to get me used to my cot and nursery as i have nearly outgrown my crib now.

Thursday 28th February

A quieter week this week as it has mainly been just me and mummy as daddy had been to China. I made it to my first WAGs coffee morning at Cova and managed to stay awake again through most of it.

I have also been to be weighed again and have finally made it into the 9lb bracket (although only just!). I have also grown by another inch and am slowly outgrowing some of my newborn clothing, although I can now wear some of my bigger 0-3 month clothes which is really nice.

I have had lots of baths this week and have now grown into my bath seat, so I can have baths on my own in the big bath. I am still happy in the bath and enjoy kicking my feet, although I do not enjoy getting out as it is always cold and usually cry until I am fully dressed in my nightclothes again.

The picture is of me this week lying on my quilt that Rachel made for me and cuddling up to my giraffe (although you cannot see him in this picture he is there!) that Jo bought me.

Thursday 21st February

Well another busy week. We have visited a few tourist places with Grandma & Grandad - the Peak, Stanley Market, Discovery Bay, Mongkok & Ladies Market and we went to see daddy play football again.

We also went to register my birth this week, so I now officially exist and have my own Hong Kong birth certificate. Next job is the passport so I can start jet setting around Asia and pop across to the UK to say hello.

I had my first RBS WAG's meeting. We went to Luise's for dinner whilst the boys had their Annual dinner. I had milk but mummy said the food was lovely - I tried my best to stay awake all night, I did not want to miss out!! Daddy made it home in time for my 4am feed - he said he had a great time but seemed to be walking funny, talking lots and snoring loudly!!!

Grandma & Grandad left on Tuesday and then daddy went to China yesterday, so it is me and mummy on our own for a few days, going to try to be good!! The picture is of me playing on my playmat - I enjoy lying on it and playing on both my front & back but not too bothered for all the hanging things yet!!

Thursday 14th February

Another active week. It is Chinese New Year, the year of the Rat. We went to daddy's work with the WAGs and partners to watch the firework display - it was very loud and made the building shake. Mummy and daddy said it was the best display they had seen and i have to agree - it been the only one I have seen!!!

Went to see daddy play football for Revo as well. It was nice and sunny for the first time since I was born and we went to the football club afterwards which was very nice.

I had my weight taken again and now weigh 8.5lbs and have grown 0.5 inch to 5.5 inches. The nurse said I was very good and was impressed with how well I held my head up, so that I can see what is happening.

Grandma & Grandad McGovern arrived yesterday so i think i am going to have another busy week ahead of me again.

The picture is of all my friends in my cot - thankyou to everyone who bought me a cuddly toy, they are all very different and i am looking forward to playing/cuddling the more as i get bigger!!
