9 weeks old

Thursday 27th March

We had a very exciting week this week, it was Easter weekend. I did not get any easter eggs, but i got some easter presents from Granny & Grandad - a lovely dress and some rubber ducks for my bath!

At the weekend we had Sabrina & Steve over for dinner. Mummy & daddy were hoping i would go to sleep, but i knew daddy was making cheesecake (my fave) so decided to stay up and play!! Then on Sunday we went round to Ian's for Sunday lunch - again the food was so yummy i decided to stay awake and enjoy it!

Then on Monday we went on holiday! We flew to Singapore for 4 days. The flight was 31/2 hours but i really enjoyed it. Take off & landing were the best bits as mummy fed me. I had a special bassinet seat in front of mummy so that i did not have to sit on her knee the whole way. i spent most of the time cuddling mummy & daddy but i did go in the bassinet when it was time to eat. i also got lots of attention from people on the flight when we went for a walk around!! Daddy is a little bit worried as we checked in at first class and went into the nice lounge - he is worried i might start expecting this all the time! We did fly economy though and daddy gave up his business seat to sit with me - the Cathay lady was so impressed she gave daddy a box of choccies & he still got his nice wine so he was happy!!

Singapore was lovely. Very warm (about 30c) but really nice. I had my humphreys corner sun hat on and finally got to wear some of my pretty sundresses and frilly knickers!! Daddy had to work whilst we were there, but me and mummy were tourists. On the first day we went shopping and got very excited by Gap - espec as they were doing buy one get second half price in baby gap - how could we say no!! On Weds we went to Raffles Hotel, Chijmes & the Churches around there we also had lunch with daddy. We even made it out for dinner every night and sat around the pool a bit. I have not had my jabs yet so we did not go in.

Anyway I really enjoyed my first holiday and am looking forward to the next one already!!
